Upholstery Stain Removal Guide

DISCLAIMER: At Furnish Connection we try to give our visitors the most accurate and helpful  information possible. However - we are not responsible for any damage or loss as a result of using this information. Always test any detergent, chemical, or other substance on a non-visible area before attempting to clean any stain. If you purchased a fabric protection with your furniture, contact the seller for details on what to do. Sometimes attempting to remove a stain on your own will void your warranty!

It is important to know the cleaning code of the stained fabric. Please review the standard codes before removing the stain. If you are purchasing a sofa this is very important information regarding the maintenance of your upholstery. Make sure you save the cleaning code and your invoice.

How To Begin

Whisk the cleaning solution and use the foam to clean. Do not saturate the stained area. Always pre-test in a hidden area to make sure the solution does not damage the fabric.

Blot from the outside of the stain inward. Try not to spread the stain. Always use a clean, dye free cloth or paper towel in order to avoid dye transfer.
